Greg Simons teaches communication science at Daffodil International University and is a prolific academic writer and editor. He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences and media commentator. He joined the board of PQI in 2018 and is currently its chairman. He lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and in Uppsala, Sweden.
Tobias Ljungvall has a background in democracy and human rights promotion, editorial writing and reporting, and has also worked in the Swedish security service. He joined the board of PQI in 2025 and is its secretary. He lives in Uppsala, Sweden.
Håkan Julander is an actor, film maker, poet and peace activist. He runs the podcast Dissidentpodden and is a skilled audio book reader. He joined the board of PQI in 2025 and lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
